| The Drennen DRX Ultra light float rods are produced in a super high modulus carbon and are fitted with full SIC guides. They are available in 13' and 14' and 15' versions with a light- fast tip action. They are also extremely rigid with no unnnecessary middle or tip bounce and these characteristics ensure a rapid strike response and improved float control. Although these rods are crisp and fast they have a deceptively gentle shock absorbing tip which cushions the strike and allows you to fish with hook legths as light as 10oz with total confidence. At the other extreme larger tench- chub and bream can be caught by using a 3lb or even 4lb hook length. Both of these rods are an absolute pleasure to use and are so light and well balanced that even when working a float through on fast rivers they can be fishied for very long periods without fatigue. | |
