The original Greyflex was an incredibly popular rod - so why change?
Well, the upgraded M2 is an even bigger success, a real case of the best getting better. The totally redesigned blank has reduced weight but added strength and durability. The modified and faster middle-to-tip action increases line speed for extra distance and the improved recovery rate throws smooth, tight loops and increases wind penetration. New, lightweight stripping guides and hard chrome snake intermediates give improved performance, durability and looks.
The Greyflex is a top-flight distance rod, yet it remains very user-friendly. In Howard Croston’s opinion, this is a rod for everyone - not just the big casters out there! M2s are also perfect for all rounders and experienced anglers who recognize quality and appreciate versatility.

The GRXi double-hander isn’t just a strong, willing rod. It’s also great to look at, a joy to use and compares well against rods costing hundreds of pounds more. A great quality product at a remarkably realistic price.
• Great value throughout – design, blank quality and cosmetics.
• Easy to use with sharp recovery. The perfect balance for a double-hander.
• Proven durability on many of the toughest salmon fishing missions.
• Cordura rod tube
• Lifetime warranty
“I got back from the Varzuga last week after a great season. There were exceptional mid and late-season runs with some really good fish. Thank you for the GRXi double-handers which were great. They proved to be excellent camp rods. Everybody, novice and expert, commented on their forgiving nature and just how pleasant they were to use. Around fifteen clients used them all the time and were very impressed. In short, they took the full brunt of the Kola season – boats, trees, helicopters, temperature extremes and they caught over a hundred salmon each without a squeak of protest.”
Angus Selby, Roxton Camp Manager on the Varzuga River, Kola Peninsula. |

The great strength of Missionary rods is their multi-piece versatility that has endeared them to thousands of traveling anglers. Fit one in a car cubby hole, briefcase or holiday luggage, add a reel and wallet of flies and you’re ready to fly fish anywhere, any time. They also make the perfect space-friendly spare rod. In a boat they are all but invisible and in a rucksack they take up no room whatsoever. But there’s a lot more to a Missionary than travel convenience.
Neither the seven nor five-piece models sacrifice anything in action compared to standard rod designs, giving great possibilities. The seven-piece has a slightly faster action of the two, whilst the five-piece is a little easier to use. And of course, there are rods in the range that are true specialists in their own right.
The seven-foot three-inch, three to four weight is a perfect midge rod for a small stream while the ten-foot three-inch, four to five weight is one of the finest Czech nymphing rods available today.
The Missionary. Light yet precise. The perfect traveling companion.

More and more anglers are looking to new waters and new challenges. This often means wild rivers, wild fish and the thrill of quick, intimate action. That’s why we’ve designed the Streamflex, a range dedicated to fishing a current.
The Streamflex is versatile. The smaller three weights are perfect for brooks and small brownies in overhung streams. The eight to nine-foot, four and five-weights are general river rods - perfect for trout and grayling. The ten-foot, four and five-weights are designed for Czech nymphing or light stillwater and float tube fishing.
The Streamflex is accurate. With river fishing you need to be precise so a fast recovery allows the flexed rod to return to its stationary position almost instantly. This means the fly line goes out absolutely straight. The quality of the carbon cloth and the structure of the fibres eliminates wobble, increases precision and lays down a perfect close-quarter line. The Streamflex performs brilliantly in the lightweight world of floating lines, dry flies and nymphs. River fishers will love the impeccable balance, the progressive, middle-to-tip-action and lightweight rings, as well as the ability to make perfect casts and quickly mend the line.
The Streamflex - king of the current.

The original GRX was given many accolades and was loved by thousands of anglers. So we looked at where we could improve it and came up with the amazing new GRXi. Totally redeveloped- the GRXi is lighter- better balanced and has an increadible recovery rate. It looks fantastic too- with its discreet black blank- laser-etched reel seat- beautifully-shaped handle and hint of red in the whippings. In addition- GRXi rods now all come in a tough cordura tube. But some things do stay the same. The GRXi range has great versatility. From the delightful #2/3 weight to the dependable #7/8 weight- this is complete rod range. And we expect the GRXi to maintain its position as a premier rod on reservoirs. The nine-foot- seven/eight and eight/nine weights are even saltwater proof. And last- but certainly not least- we've kept the incredible value that no-one ever believed was possible for such a fine rod. Top quality- great value - the all new GRXi. Reel in photo not included in price. |

Despite its entry-level price, the G-Series is so good we found that even experienced anglers liked it, and with such a sweet action we were not suprised.
The rod looks grest, and offers a really user-friendly, middle-to-tip action with good recovery. The eight-foot 3/4 weight is a nice, light river rod and at the other end of the scale, the ten-foot, 7/8 weight has made a fine sea trout and grilse rod.
John Bailey has even being using them to catch Barbel on the fly, proof of their superb durability. The rods are designed to team up with the G-Series reels.
G-Series - the new benchmark in value for money and quality.
**All these rods come complete with FREE OF CHARGE quality large arbour reel (not a Greys model), loaded backing, fly line and leader loop!!**

The Sirrus represents entry-level brilliance in a fishing rod, but that doesn’t reflect a jot on the performance or the faultless finish of the range. The Sirrus is a very sweet rod.
It’s lightweight and lively, it’s crisp, comfortable and becomes everyone’s favourite rod. All the rod’s devotees talk about its balance, its casting abilities, its speed on the strike and its overall sensitivity.
They also say how many times its forgiving nature saves a wayward cast and how great a rod it is to play a fish on. That’s because it has real ‘feel’, a quality true fishermen recognise and appreciate.
The Sirrus is remarkable for two things: its price and its all-round ‘fishability’ – another term anglers respond to. The Sirrus really can improve an angler’s performance and control, at a cost that’s easily worth paying.
• Available in #3 to #9 weight options

It’s perhaps no coincidence that the Swift MKII, in its stunning new dark silver livery, is set to have the same impact on fly fishers world wide as the immensely popular original Swift.
The high performance Swift MkII was designed for anglers of proven ability and unlimited ambition. It’s easy to think you can’t afford a rod with the technical performance of the Swift, but you’ll be surprised how affordable they are. Cost is only one of the reasons that the Swift is loved by competition anglers, its ability to throw a tight controlled loop with ease, hook and hold a mature grown-on rainbow yet still effortlessly roll cast a short line.
The Swift's consummate adaptability and diverse range provide a solution to every problem from river to reservoir, raging torrent to summer stream they are all as one to the Swift MkII. As a high level performer, the beautiful new MkII is very versatile at a competitive price. And now that we’ve introduced the Swift reel, it has an obvious and automatic partner.
To complete the range, we’ve introduced two new models for 2007 specifically for the river fisherman.
