Finding a rod holdall or quiver system designed specifically for the day, short session, or mobile angler has always been a tall order. Holdalls are often too cumbersome and heavy with many compartments and features surplus to requirements. Likewise, the majority of quivers have bivvy compartments and added this and extra that.
What was required was a lightweight multiple rod transportation system along the lines of a quiver sleeve but with no unwanted extra compartments weighing it down – and here it is – the Fishrite 3 rod protection sleeve. Purpose built for day sessions, the protection sleeve offers a lightweight but durable transportation system with out all the unwanted extras.
The sleeve allows the transportation of three made up rods, landing net, net pole and banksticks. The sleeve itself measures approximately 7ft in length, big enough to house 12ft or 13ft rods, and has one heavy duty zip running the length of the sleeve. A quick release heavily padded shoulder strap allows comfortable transportation of rods and an additional carry handle located midway up the sleeve allows the sleeve to be carried by hand.
A neatly designed net pole retainer on the outside of the sleeve reduces the need for extra internal capacity - thus less overall weight. The base of the net pole slides into a 75cm sleeve at the base of system and the top of the pole clips into a Velcro retainer sleeve. The external zip pocket takes the net head and bank sticks.
The inner is fully padded to provide maximum protection to each of the three rods. The middle rod sits in a cocooned zip up sleeve, with the second and third rods located either side, which means that no part of any rod can come into contact with any of the others, totally eliminating the risk of scratches between rods or rig tangles.
