Fair Shipping Policy
At Trev's Tackle we operate a 'fair shipping policy', this means that we endeavour to charge the correct amount for your order. We don't use the delivery price as a way of making money out of your order.
Delivery
At Trev’s Tackle we aim to process and despatch your order as quickly as possible. If there are any problems with your order we will endeavour to make contact in the first instance to see how you wish to proceed. You will not be charged for any items we do not have in stock or which have not been despatched.
Pricing Tariff
The total postage charge for your order will be shown at the checkout stage of online ordering. We use a simple pricing structure based on the total weight/volume of goods ordered.
Small Packet Hooks, Terminal Tackle, etc £1.00
Medium Packet Reels, Medium Jiffy Bags, etc £2.95
Parcel Post All large items £6.00
The above prices are based on 2nd Class or a 48hour Service dependant on the Carrier; however we can offer an optional Next Day Parcel Post Service priced at £8.00.
Please note – all delivery charges shown are for UK Mainland only and will be applied to your order at checkout on entering delivery address details.
If you wish to have your order shipped to an Offshore or Worldwide address, your order will be calculated without shipping and you will be contacted with full details once we have obtained a quotation for shipping.
Next day delivery is available and charged at a flat rate of £8. This charge overrides our
3 standard shipping bands for the 2 - 3 business days delivery service.
Next day delivery means next business day, weekends and holidays are excluded.
If your order was placed before 12pm and you selected next day delivery, your order will be
shipped the same day.
Some special offers on our site offer free shipping. Free shipping on these special offers is for the 2 - 3 business days shipping method only. If you choose next day delivery for such an item, you will be charged £8 shipping. |
How do we calculate these charges?
These charges represent the cost of packing, handling and getting the goods to you safely and using an insured service where necessary. To ensure the security of your goods we need to obtain signatures and tracking on larger / expensive items, which is reflected in the tariff shown. If you have any queries about postage and packing, or if the service you require is not shown, please do not hesitate in contacting us.
Accepting your Goods
Depending on the size and value of your goods, they may be sent using a signed-for service. If you are out when a delivery attempt is made you will be left a calling-card with instructions. It is important that you respond to any instructions left, as if the goods remain uncalled for, they will be returned back to us after a few days and postage costs would become due again for any repeated delivery attempt.
Timing
We will make every effort to deliver orders within the delivery option requested at the time the order was placed. However we cannot guarantee this and we will not accept responsibility if your order is delivered outside this time.
Back Orders
We do not automatically hold out of stock items on back order to avoid confusion.
Tax Charges
15% VAT is already included.
Credit/Debit Card Security
All payment details are collected in encrypted format externally via PROTX secure payment services. We do not store your payment details on our website.
Guarantee
We attempt to Guarantee all goods purchased from this web site.
Any goods purchased that are unused and still in the original packaging may be returned for a full refund, no refund for post and packing charges will be made unless goods are faulty. All returns are made at the customers own risk, so we advise you use a reputable recorded delivery service.
Privacy Policy
Trev's Tackle does not disclose buyers' information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfil customer orders
b. Administer and enhance the site and service
c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes
Returns Policy
All returns will be dealt with by our experienced team. Any faulty goods will be exchanged/replaced upon satisfactory inspection. Any items purchased and unused will be refunded if required. All items used and found to be faulty will be inspected and if a satisfactory outcome between Trev's Tackle and the buyer is not achieved the goods will be returned to the manufacturer for further inspection. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
Remittance Terms
All orders to be paid for in full prior to despatch.
